First, let’s review how EPIC LLAMA works, what we offer, and what we do not offer.

We create unique travel experiences by grouping travellers together and sending them away for 3-day weekend trips to surprise destinations full of adventure. We plan everything for you so you don't have to worry about a single thing! Destinations will always be inside of Europe. Destinations will have public transportation and plenty of resources and activities to keep you busy for the three days. We try to avoid big cities like London and Paris, for example. 


  • Once accepted, we send you an email one week before you depart, detailing the weather forecast for your mystery destination, whether you should pack anything specific, and any luggage restrictions. It will also tell you where to go and when for your meeting point. (i.e. Alexanderplatz, 9:30AM)

  • Two other emails are sent before your departure which includes clues about your fellow travellers, fun GIFs and other suggestions for your weekend.

  • Your boarding passes/tickets will be sent remotely on the day of departure at the meeting point.

    • Dinner/snack on Day 1

    • Curated 'Scavenger Hunt' on Day 2.


  • Book or pay for any of your activities (we just give you recommendations!)

  • Provide tour guides for the weekend


You pay for your trip directly on the website via the invitation email.
We guarantee that your payment and personal information are safe and protected.



The purchase of any travel services offered by EPIC LLAMA constitutes a contractual arrangement between The Client (all travelers on the trip, hereinafter as “client”) and EPIC LLAMA, and represents the client’s acceptance of the EPIC LLAMA Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that the client reads carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of booking and is the client’s acknowledgement that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by them.

When the client books their trip, they accept the terms of these booking conditions on behalf of the entire party. It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that all of the details on the confirmations are correct.


EPIC LLAMA chooses where you go based on availability and season. Have an open mind, get ready to explore, and we’re sure you’ll love where you end up!

By agreeing to these Terms + Conditions, you give EPIC LLAMA permission to select the destination for your trip. As such, EPIC LLAMA cannot be held liable if you are unhappy with your destination, and we will not offer refunds under these circumstances. We select your destination city based upon available tickets and accommodations given your travel dates. By paying for our services, you agree to relinquish control over your destination.


Name Changes

All passenger details must exactly match your government issued ID (Passport or ID). Your booking will be made under this name and changes to name details are not allowed by many airlines and other service providers. While we will do our best to make such a change if necessary, please bear in mind that most airlines and other service providers treat a name change as a cancellation, to which standard conditions and charges apply. 

Day of Travel
We’ll tell you exactly when and where you need to be at the meeting point in order to catch your flight, bus, or train. PLEASE don’t be late. If you have any questions about your reservation, give us a call!  We’ll give you as much information as possible without ruining the surprise. 

Missed Travel
If you miss your travel, there’s not much we can do. We’ll give you all the information you need to get there with plenty of time, and it’s up to you to get there. EPIC LLAMA is not responsible for missed travel as a result of customer error.

Cancelled Travel
If you need to cancel your trip, message us ASAP! We can’t promise you’ll get your money back, because that depends on the transportation + accommodation companies, but we’ll do our best for you.

Cancelled bookings will not be fully refunded. Refunds are subject to the transportation and accommodation providers through which your reservations are made. You may forfeit 100% of the cost of the booking. If your plans change for any reason, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Cancellations made 10 days before the departure will not be refunded.

If the minimum amount of people (5) required for departure is not met, we reserve the right to cancel any trip up to 4 days before the departure date.

Luggage Restrictions
We’ll let you know exactly how to pack - what checked bags you’re allowed, etc. If you’re a heavy packer, any extra fees are your responsibility. 

Depending on your mode of transportation and transportation company, we’ll tell you exactly what you are getting one week prior to departure (one checked bag, only carry-on baggage, etc.) EPIC LLAMA has no responsibility for products or services provided by any Third Party Suppliers that you purchase separately (extra checked bags, food or drinks on flight, etc.). We give and make no warranty or representation regarding the services or products supplied by Third Party Suppliers. Luggage and Baggage policies vary from carrier to carrier. One week prior to departure, you will be alerted by EPIC LLAMA of any size and weight restrictions to which you must adhere. Should your baggage not comply with these restrictions, you will incur all additional charges.

Accommodation Compliance
Follow the rules! Don’t smoke, don’t break anything, don’t steal. If you get kicked out, or charged for anything, we can’t help you there. 

Note that your payment through EPIC LLAMA covers your reservation fees. All additional fees incurred through incidentals (room service, late checkout, etc.) are to be paid by the customer. 

Customers are required to comply with all rules and regulations of the booked accommodation. Failure to do so may result in fees or expulsion from the hostel. EPIC LLAMA will not be held liable for any additional fees incurred, or legal proceedings between the customer and accommodation. 

Important Note – Conditions Beyond Our Control
There are some things that even we can’t control (natural disasters, food poisoning, etc.). If something goes seriously wrong, we can’t promise any full refunds. As always, just give us a call and we’ll see what we can do. 
If there is an extreme weather situation, we’ll help you get sorted out and make sure you have a plan to get back home, but will not cover the additional expenses. 

Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports; hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances.

EPIC LLAMA cannot accept liability or responsibility for any airline or supplier bankruptcy or insolvency and the failure to provide any services that may follow.

Liability Statement
We’ve done our absolute best to make sure your accommodation and travel arrangements are top-notch. 

EPIC LLAMA acts as an agent for independent travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels and other independent suppliers to provide you with the services you purchase; and is represented in destination by companies organized and existing in that destination, including providers of transportation and excursions. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for your vacation. However, we do not accept and expressly disclaim any liability for the actions or omissions of these independent suppliers. If you find you have any dispute with such persons, however, we will give you as much reasonable help as we can in resolving a dispute.
You understand and agree that EPIC LLAMA shall not be liable for any loss, injury, expense or damage to persons or property resulting, directly or indirectly, from the acts or omissions of these independent travel suppliers, including but not limited to delays, over bookings, cancellation of services, cessation of operations, accidents, failures of equipment, or changes in fares, itineraries or schedules.
EPIC LLAMA cannot control and will not be responsible for bodily injury, property or other damage or loss caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to flight delays, airline turbulence, transportation accidents, war, terrorism, weather, quarantine, sickness, government restrictions, regulations or actions, mechanical breakdowns, fires, earthquakes, floods, climatic aberrations, acts of, civil unrest, strikes, riots, theft, disease or accidents, or failures related to the public internet, telecommunications lines or facilities, or third party technology systems, other unforeseen circumstances, or any other cause beyond our control, or including your physical, medical or mental disabilities, your failure to obtain valid travel documents or your failure to follow travel instructions. Under no circumstances shall EPIC LLAMA be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the foregoing.

EPIC LLAMA, the airlines, bus, and train providers issue tickets and/or electronic documents covering transportation and hostel/accommodations. Neither EPIC LLAMA nor these suppliers, or their respective subagents, shall be held liable for loss or damage to property or injury of person caused by reason of any act, omission, defect or negligence by any other hotel agency, transportation company or party providing such services or facilities. 
All parties concerned are not liable for any claim arising out of or in connection with carriage or other services or features otherwise performed or occurring in connection with this package, except as provided in the conditions of carriage for the transportation company and the passenger tickets issued in conjunction with this package. EPIC LLAMA is not responsible under any circumstances for any injury or damages you may suffer in connection with your air or ground transportation.


Please note that any confirmed booking is subject to your credit card approval for the transaction.

Basically, refunds are not guaranteed.
Please note that any request for refunds is subject to these Terms & Conditions. 
The right to a refund is limited if a participant changes plans prior to or after the trip is taken. All requests for refunds must be submitted directly to EPIC LLAMA. No refund will be made for package features the participant opts not to use. “No show” penalties could be up to 100% of the package or component costs. Any complaint or claim involving the vacation services booked through EPIC LLAMA, involving the negligence of any transportation companies, or accommodations in relation to any service provided to the customer, must be notified to EPIC LLAMA while on vacation or within 30 days of the trip completion. 

Safety + Personal Risk
We’re 99.9% sure that everything will be perfectly fine on your trip, but if something happens that we can’t control (like getting struck by lightning, or getting hit by a truck) and is totally random, please know that this is a risk you’re willing to take. 

Please be aware that during your participation in a EPIC LLAMA trip, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: injury or theft during travel by train, aircraft, bus or other means of transportation; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness. While EPIC LLAMA will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken to avoid any possible risks, by agreeing to participate in a EPIC LLAMA trip you agree that you will hold EPIC LLAMA harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. EPIC LLAMA is not responsible for such risks and dangers that may arise beyond our control. By agreeing to these terms & conditions, you accept these risks and dangers and agree to hold EPIC LLAMA harmless for such.


Most importantly we want you to have fun! Fun is not 100% guaranteed, but it's 99% ;)
